How to Make Ube Halaya-food and recipes
Yield: 5 pcs 3/4 cup small size llanera
Ingredients
600g Purple Yam (ube)
140 ml Evaporated Milk
1 1/2 cup (1 large) Coconut Milk
1 1/2 cup White Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanila Extract
2 tbsp Salted Butter
Procedure
Wash the purple yam to remove soil and dirt. Boil for 45 minutes.
After boiling peel the purple yam and grate.
Over medium-low flame combine evaporated milk, coconut milk, white sugar and vanilla extract. Cook until all sugar has dissolved.
Once boiling and all sugar has dissolved add the grated purple yam and butter. Mix well and continue cooking for 45 minutes or until very thick. Do not stop stirring to prevent it from burning.
After cooking transfer in a container and refrigerate to cool.
And that's it! You are done! Enjoy your delicious and sooo rich ube jam "ube halaya".

This costing is for small entrepreneur who want to start at low with 10 to 20 pcs production. If you are planing to take this into higher volume of production like 100 and above please adjust for manpower expense and other expenses that might affect when increasing the volume of production.
